An established South Australian trades business is continuing to grow and is looking for experienced Electricians and HVAC Technicians to join the team. There is plenty of work out there for positive tradespeople. What makes this opportunity different is the chance to join a business where you can genuinely build a career.
They have a strong track record of developing people internally, investing in training and giving people the opportunity to take on more responsibility as they progress. There are team members who have built long careers with the business, and that culture of retaining and developing good people is something they want to continue.
The Opportunity
Depending on your trade and experience, your work could include:
- Residential and commercial electrical maintenance
- Electrical fault finding and upgrades
- HVAC service, maintenance and fault finding
- Air conditioning installations and replacements
- Split and ducted systems
- Working directly with customers and managing jobs from start to finish
- Working alongside other electrical, HVAC and trade professionals
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices
You don't need to cover both electrical and HVAC. We're interested in experienced people from either trade.
However, if you're dual trade qualified across electrical and refrigeration/air conditioning,
that will be highly regarded.
What We're Looking For
For electrical positions, you'll need a current A Class Electrical Licence. For HVAC positions, you'll need the appropriate Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualifications and licensing.
Across both, we're looking for people who can work independently, solve problems, communicate well with customers and take pride in the standard of their work.
More Than Just Another Trade Role
There is a real focus on creating opportunities for people who perform well. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to step into senior, supervisory and leadership positions, as well as ongoing training for people who want to continue developing technically.
You'll have a fully maintained company vehicle, the equipment needed to do your job properly and a competitive remuneration structure with additional commission and performance-based earning opportunities.
Just as importantly, you'll be joining an established team with a strong culture, long-term employees and a business that wants its people to stick around and build their careers.
If you're an experienced Electrician, HVAC Technician or dual trade professional and you're interested in what the next few years of your career could look like, we'd like to hear from you.
