About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused Internal Sales and Customer Service Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers — building strong relationships, processing orders, and helping drive new business across your allocated zone.

What You'll Be Doing

- Maintaining and growing profitable relationships within your customer base
- Making regular scheduled calls to customers to build rapport and identify opportunities
- Processing inbound and outbound orders accurately and efficiently (phone and email)
- Proactively contacting customers about stock shortages and offering suitable alternatives
- Sourcing and onboarding new customer leads into our systems
- Following up on overdue accounts
- Supporting Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers with appointments and customer follow-ups
- Identifying new business opportunities and referring them to the Business Development team




- Reporting on customer feedback, new product ideas, and market activity
- Assisting with product recalls/withdrawals and covering colleagues during leave periods
- Helping uphold our Quality and Food Safety (HACCP) standards

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or a call-centre environment (food/FMCG experience a plus)
- Robust communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
- A team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
