Sydney | Fund Administration A growing financial services business specialising in fund administration for private markets is looking for a Junior Fund Accountant / Treasury Officer to join its Sydney team.
This is a hands-on opportunity covering bank reconciliations, treasury administration and fund accounting , with exposure to a broad range of clients and fund structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bank reconciliations across multiple funds and entities
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
- Manage banking access, users and transaction limits
- Maintain treasury and banking records
- Assist with journals, accruals and GL reconciliations
- Support capital calls, distributions and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes
About You
- 1-2 years' experience in accounting, audit or banking operations
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Experience with bank reconciliations preferred
- Robust Excel skills and attention to detail
- Interested in pursuing CA/CPA
- Fund accounting, treasury or private markets experience is advantageous
