About the role

As the Learning Diversity Leader, you will play an significant role in guiding and shaping our inclusive practices. You will collaborate closely with teachers, education support staff, leadership, and external specialists to design and implement personalised learning adjustments and interventions for students with additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

Lead Inclusive Practices: Guide the development and implementation of neuro-affirming and evidence based learning strategies, Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs), and the NCCD funding processes.

Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with classroom teachers and leanring support officers to build capacity, adapt curriculum content,



implement accomodations and adjustments and differentiate instruction effectively.

Family & Specialist Engagement: Build respectful and ongoing relationships with families, allied health professionals, and external agencies to ensure every child recieves the support they deserve.

Data-Driven Support: Oversee assessment processes to monitor student progress, evaluate support program effectiveness, and inform future learning interventions.

Qualifications

We are looking for;

- A strong commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic education.
- Full Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, with specialized post-graduate training or extensive experience in Special Education / Learning Diversity highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead collaboratively.
