The Department of Management brings together leading expertise in business innovation, entrepreneurship, health services management, employment relations and human resources, delivering a globally recognised and industry-relevant education. Join a passionate and dynamic department as a teaching focused Level B Lecturer who’s focus will be teaching in digital business and information systems disciplines. In this role you will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and to research.
The position will have a teaching and research profile, where you will undertake teaching, course coordination and are expected to have demonstrated teaching expertise in digital business and information systems or a related field
You will also undertake research in your area of expertise along with supervising research higher degree students (if eligible).
About you
- You will have a track record in tertiary teaching and experience in course coordination.
- You will have success in attracting research grant funding and a track record of publication.
- Expertise in digital business and information systems disciplines
What we can offer This is a fixed term (until 31/10/2028)
part-time 50% contract. You will be primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan), noting that Griffith Business School at Brisbane South (Nathan) will be relocating to Griffith CBD, with an intended relocation date of early 2027. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum. (You will be paid on a proportionate basis).
Qualifications
The successful applicants will hold a doctoral or masters qualification of equivalent accreditation and standing and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field.
