Australian Native Landscapes (ANL) is seeking skilled operators (Front End Loader & Excavator) or applicants wanting to join the industry under traineeships for immediate start at both of our Northern Beaches facilities.
Training will be provided for applicants wanting to get into the industry!
ANL is looking for motivated Plant Operators – Loader and Excavator Operators to join the team at our Kimbriki Organics Facility on a rotating day shift.
This day shift pattern will involve weekend and public holiday work to ensure 7-day coverage and support our site operations.
As part of the role, you will be required to complete pre-start checks, keep your equipment neat and tidy, and report any faults to our onsite Maintenance team. A strong focus on machine care and operator maintenance is essentialto ensure our equipment remains safe, reliable and available for production.
Operators will be responsible for carrying out mandatory minor maintenance and daily machine care, including greasing equipment and cleaning machinery using compressed air, in accordance with site procedures and manufacturer requirements.
Loader Operator
As a Loader Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Feeding screening plant hoppers, grinders and other processing equipment.
- Tailing away material from processing equipment.
- Building rows and stockpiles.
- Loading trucks with outgoing finished goods.
- Using onsite scales to accurately load trucks to the required weight.
- Monitoring truck weights while loading and adjusting loads as required to ensure trucks are loaded correctly and within weight requirements.
- Maintaining safe and efficient truck-loading operations.
- Directing Truck Drivers to designated locations onsite in a polite and respectful manner to avoid congestion.
Excavator Operator
As an Excavator Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently across the site.
- Feeding slow-speed shredders and screening equipment with material as required.
- Feeding equipment using mechanical grabs or buckets, depending on the excavator and task.
- Stockpiling and moving material around the site.
- Loading, sorting and handling materials as required.
- Maintaining stockpile areas and ensuring material is presented correctly for processing.
- Supporting the Loader Operator and wider site team with day-to-day material handling requirements.
- Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting faults or maintenance requirements.
All Plant Operators
All operators will be expected to:
- Complete daily pre-start and safety checks.
- Operate plant and equipment in accordance with site procedures and manufacturer requirements.
- Greasing machines and lubrication points as required.
- Cleaning machinery thoroughly using compressed air to remove dust, dirt and material build-up.
- Report equipment faults, hazards and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Follow all site safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Work cooperatively with Truck Drivers, Maintenance and other site personnel.
- Demonstrate a robust commitment to safety, reliability and efficient site operations.
