About the Opportunity
We are excited to present an outstanding prospect for an experienced Centre Director to lead a newly built, purpose-designed early learning service. You’ll have the opportunity to continue building a strong, positive team culture while leading a service committed to exceptional outcomes for children and families.

Importantly, you won’t be doing it alone! You’ll work alongside a highly experienced, approachable and supportive Area Manager who understands the realities of leading a service, together with ongoing guidance from a passionate Pedagogical Leader committed to educational excellence.
You’ll also have the support of a full-time, off-the-floor Assistant Director and Educational Leader, giving you a strong leadership structure around you and allowing you to focus on your team, families and the overall success of the service.

This full-time opportunity is conveniently located near Grovedale,



with easy access from Waurn Ponds, Belmont, Highton, Charlemont, Mount Duneed and Geelong.

Management Responsibilities

- Mentor, inspire and lead a high-performing team.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Maintain excellent knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage staff rostering and workforce planning.
- Experience using Qikkids, Xplor or similar childcare management software.
- Performance management and team development.
- Financial reporting and budget management.
- Build strong, positive partnerships with children, families and the local community.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised).
- Previous experience as a Centre Director or an experienced Assistant Director ready to step into their first Centre Director role.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and people management capability.
- Full Australian working rights (mandatory).
