Part-time (0.6 FTE) | 3 days per week | Adelaide office

Reporting to the National Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer will support BET Care in maintaining accurate compliance records, monitoring outstanding requirements and ensuring our services remain audit-ready.
This hands on role is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing documentation, identifying compliance gaps and working collaboratively with teams to ensure required actions are completed. You will join our Adelaide office team on a part-time basis, working three days per week (0.6 FTE).

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled internal audits, participant file reviews and compliance checks against relevant NDIS Practice Standards and BET Care policies.
- Support external audits by gathering, organising and reviewing evidence, preparing documentation and coordinating information requests.
- Document audit findings, identify compliance gaps and follow up corrective actions with responsible teams.
- Maintain compliance registers, audit schedules, risk registers and improvement action plans.
- Review participant documentation, including support plans, risk assessments and emergency plans, and follow up missing or overdue reviews with operational teams.
- Maintain policies, procedures, forms and quality documentation, including version control and review dates.
- Support incident and complaints recordkeeping,



reporting and action tracking under the direction of the National Compliance Manager.
- Prepare audit summaries, compliance updates and reports and escalate outstanding or high-risk matters.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Compliance Department.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in compliance, quality assurance or auditing, preferably within disability or community services.
- Working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct.
- Experience reviewing records, preparing audit evidence and following up compliance actions.
- Robust organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and digital recordkeeping systems.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and collaborate effectively with operational teams.
- The ability to handle sensitive and and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Relevant qualifications in quality, auditing, business, disability or community services will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

- Qualifications in Disability, Health, Community Services, Quality, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Australian working rights.
- Willingness to travel between BET locations when required.
