We are currently seeking qualified, reliable and caring Support Workers to support our aged care clients in their homes across North Brisbane suburbs.
Employment: Casual
Locations: Stafford, McDowall, Alderley, Aspley, Zillmere, Mitchelton and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs
Hours: casual hours covering sick days, planned and unplanned leave
Availability: You must be available 3 week days from 7am - 5pm
Shifts: Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day
Renumeration: Level 3 $43.23/hr + Super + Paid travel time + Kilometers reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.
Shift Type: 60% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care, supporting Aged Care clients
Your responsibilities:
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Providing personal care and supporting clients with daily routines
- Offering social and recreational support, from friendly conversations to accompanying clients on community outings
- Transporting clients safely to appointments or social activities using your own vehicle
- Running errands and providing general support to enhance clients’ quality of life

About you:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident driving and willing to travel to suburbs within the Brisbane North area
- Confident in supporting clients living with dementia
Essential to have:
- Australian Working Rights
- Current Australian Driver Licence – Open or Green P Plates.
- Current Queensland motor vehicle registration, access to a reliable, insured roadworthy vehicle
Willing to obtain:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR
