The Tasmania Football Club is on a historic journey to build Tasmania’s AFL and AFLW club from the ground up.
As our football programs continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sports Dietitian to provide targeted nutrition support across our VFL, VFLW and Academy programs.
About the Opportunity
Working collaboratively with our High Performance, Medical and Wellbeing teams, you’ll help athletes optimise their fuelling, recovery, rehabilitation and physical development.
The role will include:
- Individual athlete consultations and nutrition support
- Athlete education and practical nutrition resources
- Training, competition and travel nutrition planning
- Nutrition support through injury and rehabilitation
- Supplement guidance
- Collaboration with the broader High Performance team to support athlete health and performance
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring relevant tertiary qualifications and qualified accreditation in dietetics, together with an interest in sports nutrition and athlete development.
Experience working within elite or developing athlete environments and sports dietetics accreditation will be highly regarded.
This is a casual opportunity based in Hobart, with flexibility to support the needs of our VFL, VFLW and Academy programs.
