About the role
Phlebotomists have a very important role, often meeting patients early on and following them through their fertility journey. With exceptional customer service, underpinned by compassion and attention to detail, you will directly enhance the patient experience.
This is a Casual position, with the ability to travel to multiple sites across Metro Melbourne as a requirement.
Under guidance from the Phlebotomy Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a professional and caring phlebotomy service to fertility patients
- Ensuring bloods are packaged, dispatched or delivered to laboratories in accordance with the agreed timelines and protocols
- Providing administration support to the Patient Services and Nursing Teams when required
- A track record of delivering caring customer focused service
- Ability to package blood samples effectively
- Compliance with standard processes and protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Valuable organisational skills
- Superior time management skills with proven ability to multitask
