In this role, you'll: Lead sourcing, procurement, inventory and supplier management across our Operational Technology environment.You’ll use data and insights to improve purchasing, optimise inventory and deliver value for money, while strengthening procurement governance and asset management practices. Working closely with suppliers, internal teams and corporate procurement, you’ll help ensure critical goods and services are available when needed.
You’ll also champion safety, compliance and continuous improvement, creating efficient, scalable and audit-ready processes. You will champion asset management discipline and maintain robust inventory and warehousing practices by implementing systems and processes that accurately record, track and secure OT assets, tools, equipment and inventory holdings throughout their lifecycle. TfNSW’s Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure is the technology, communications and operational systems that keep the transport network running safely and reliably, including CCTV, traffic management systems, radio networks, fibre communications, roadside cabinets, electronic signs and critical operational technology platforms.

About You You’re a commercially minded, analytical leader who thrives in complex operational environments. With experience across inventory, warehousing, procurement or supply chain, you understand how to manage critical assets effectively.
You’re confident working with procurement, finance, operational teams and suppliers, and can strengthen governance and improve sourcing and inventory practices. Your strong leadership and influencing skills enable you to drive change, improve supplier performance and deliver sustainable improvements. You’ll have relevant Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or similar discipline.
CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) accreditation is desirable; however, it is not an essential requirement for the role.
