About the role

We are looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our Port of Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers container milk runs within the Port of Brisbane precinct, including A Double and B Double combinations, as well as the movement of out-of-gauge and oversize containerised cargo. You'll be home every night, operating a modern fleet with a professional team behind you.

Key responsibilities

- Container pickup and delivery runs within the Port of Brisbane precinct
- Operating A Double and B Double combinations safely and efficiently
- Movement of out-of-gauge (OOG) and oversize containerised cargo, including flat racks and open tops
- Safe and efficient operation of MC prime mover combinations across a range of freight tasks
- Pre-start vehicle inspections and basic checks in line with company procedures
- Accurate completion of run sheets, delivery dockets, oversize permits, and compliance records
- Adherence to port protocols, biosecurity requirements, and load restraint standards
- Clear communication with the operations team regarding schedules, permit conditions, and any issues on the run
- Maintaining the high presentation standard of our modern fleet

About you

- Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence — essential
- Valid MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) — essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating MC combinations, including A Double and B Double
- Demonstrated experience in the movement of out-of-gauge (OOG)



and oversize containerised cargo — highly regarded
- Previous Port of Brisbane or port environment experience — highly regarded
- Solid knowledge of load restraint requirements, oversize permit conditions, and safe work practices
- Ability to read and comply with load plans and OOG movement requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated — you take pride in the job
- Positive communication skills and a professional attitude
- Clean driving record
