About the role

Doctor Northbridge is seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at our conveniently located practice in Northbridge, Western Australia. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner
2. Handling incoming phone calls, booking appointments, and managing the practice's appointment schedule
3. Preparing and maintaining patient files and medical records in a confidential manner
4. Assisting with administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and general office duties
5. Providing support to the clinical team as required
6.



Maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
7. House keeping

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-oriented role
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a qualified and empathetic manner
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
4. Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
6. A friendly, positive, and proactive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
7. Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
