About Our Client Our client is a leading iron ore mining organisation operating across Western Australia. They are seeking an experienced and safety-focused MEM (Mobile Equipment Maintenance) Maintainer to join their Hope Downs operation in the Pilbara. This is a hands-on opportunity suited to a qualified Heavy Duty Diesel or Plant Mechanic with demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment in a mining or heavy industrial environment. What You Will Be Doing The successful candidate will be responsible for completing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and component change-outs across a heavy mobile equipment fleet. You will work closely with planners, supervisors and operations personnel to maximise equipment availability and reliability while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Duties Include

- Performing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment
- Completing component change-outs in accordance with OEM and site requirements
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
- Interpreting technical manuals, schematics and service documentation to support maintenance activities
- Completing maintenance reports, work orders and equipment history records accurately using SAP




- Working collaboratively with planners, supervisors and operations personnel to maximise fleet availability and reliability
- Conducting equipment inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Complying with all site safety, environmental and operational standards
- Following Safe Work Procedures, site policies and maintenance requirements
- Undertaking general maintenance duties as required

What You Will Need

- 3+ years' experience working in MEM (Mobile Equipment Maintenance) within mining or heavy industrial environments
- Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Diesel or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
- Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- High Risk Work Licences Forklift, Dogging and/or Rigging
- Demonstrated experience servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding capabilities
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and service documentation
- Experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and teamwork
- Ability to work an 8:6 or 7:7 DSNS roster
- Eligibility to work in Australia without visa sponsorship





Highly Regarded Equipment Experience Experience maintaining and repairing one or more of the following equipment types will be highly regarded:

- Komatsu 830E Electric Drive Haul Trucks
- LeTourneau L-2350 / Komatsu WE2350 Wheel Loaders
- Komatsu WA1200 Wheel Loaders
- Caterpillar 777 & 785 Water Carts
- Caterpillar 16M & 24M Graders
- Ancillary mining and support equipment
