Our School is seeking an experienced Double Bass tutor. The successful applicant will teach group lessons, as well as individual lessons across the Primary and Secondary Years of schooling.

Suitable applicants should have the following:

Essential Criteria:

- Experience teaching Double Bass in a school setting, to both Primary and Secondary School students
- Highly organised, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in ATAR Music performance requirements and preparing students for this
- A demonstrated level of performance ability

Desired Criteria:

- Ability to teach a variety of musical styles including classical, band repertoire, and jazz (including improvisational techniques)
- Ability to teach in group settings, as well as one-on-one lessons
- Ability to attend after hours concert and school functions as required
- Experience in ATAR Music performance requirements





The successful candidate will be required to have current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of WA OR provide a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (less than three months old) AND a valid Working with Children Clearance. These documents (or receipts of application) must be available prior to commencement in the position. Applicants must be supportive of the objectives and ethos of an Anglican education.
