Townsville University Hospital are seeking an outcome driven Occupational Therapist - Advanced (Supervision) to join the Occupational Therapy team.

About the prospect

This opportunity is suited to a highly motivated clinician who possesses advanced experience in the provision of clinical supervision, professional support and development of Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy team at Townsville University Hospital.

This role is responsible for the provision and co-ordination of high-quality clinical supervision and professional support to Occupational Therapy health practitioners across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS). The role supports the implementation of Clinical Governance requirements including maintaining standards of clinical practice and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient centred services to in accordance with organisational goals. It provided clinical leadership in building the capability, skills and expertise of the Occupational Therapy workforce across THHS.

Role requirements

- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy,



and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Possession of postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Health services management, People management or other relevant post graduate professional development is required.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.

- Salary range: $57.76-$61.85 p.h. (HP5)
- 4 weeks (pro rata) annual leave (17.5% loading)
