This is a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with adults and older adults and wants the autonomy of community-based practice. You’ll join a growing independent OT provider that has built its service around strong therapeutic relationships, practical clinical care and giving clinicians the time to genuinely understand their clients.

With brand-new premises, increasing referrals and a growing clinical team, you’ll also have the opportunity to join at an exciting stage of the business and play a part in shaping how the team develops.

The Caseload: The caseload is entirely adult and older adult focused, with approximately:

- One-third psychosocial disability and mental health
- One-third ASD, ADHD and cognitive presentations
- One-third physical and neurological presentations, including conditions such as MS and Parkinson’s, alongside aged care clients and falls-related support

Your work will include:
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Home modifications
- Ramps, rails and bathroom/shower modifications
- Assistive technology and equipment prescription
- ADL assessments and interventions
- Housing assessments
- Psychosocial disability
- Cognitive and neurological conditions
- Aged care and falls prevention
- Occasional more complex equipment or modification cases

Some days may be heavily appointment-based, while others may largely involve report writing. Around 90% of referrals are within the Wollongong/Illawarra area, with most clients located within approximately 30 minutes of the team's base. Longer-distance referrals do occasionally arise, however these are managed carefully across the team.

Genuine Flexibility: There is flexibility around how you structure your day.





If your first appointment is close to home, you may be able to complete reports from home in the morning before heading directly to your appointment rather than travelling into the clinic first.

Depending on your diary, your week can include a combination of:

- Community appointments
- Clinic-based work
- Working from home for reports and administration
- Direct travel from home to nearby appointments

- Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 + Super

The Director brings more than 10 years of Occupational Therapy experience across rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation and disability services, including neurological, physical, developmental and psychosocial presentations. Expectations: The current productivity expectation is approximately 5.5 billable hours per day, incorporating reasonable preparation and documentation time around appointments.

About You: You may be an experienced Occupational Therapist or an earlier-career clinician looking to build confidence across adult community practice.

You’ll ideally bring

- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Drive and have a car
- Relevant Security Clearances, NPC, WWCC, NDIS CLEARANCE
