We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a growing allied health team, supporting both paediatric and adult clients across a varied caseload. This is an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of professional experience who enjoys working with clients across different stages of life and is looking for a role offering variety, professional development and meaningful client outcomes.
The role may involve a combination of clinic-based and community-based work, depending on client and service requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualised therapy and intervention plans
- Support paediatric and adult clients with a range of functional needs
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other professionals
- Provide recommendations relating to daily living, functional capacity, equipment and environmental modifications where appropriate
- Maintain accurate client documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Support clients to develop greater independence and participation in everyday activities
About you
To be considered for this position,
you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- At least 1 year of professional Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience working with, or an interest in working across, both paediatric and adult caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A client-centred approach to therapy
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
