Baker Civil are seeking a skilled and motivated individual with experience in operating heavy machinery on civil construction sites. Operators who are multi skilled in using Excavators and Backhoes are encouraged to apply. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects. Projects are located predominantly in Mount Gambier and the South East region, so some daily travel will be a requirement of the role.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their knowledge and ability as an operator, this role will be a challenging and rewarding position where your skills will be valued.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery in a safe and proficient manner.

- Experience in trenching and bulk earthworks.

- Follow project plans and specifications, ensuring accurate execution of tasks.





- Experience excavating around underground utilities desirable.

- Assist with the installation of underground utilities, such as water and sewer lines.

- Work as a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high quality results.

- Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks while working efficiently.

- Promote a safety culture on the worksite.

- Must have current drivers licence and other relevant licence

This position will commence as casual, with the chance of fulltime for the right candidate.
