We're seeking a commercially minded and digitally savvy Global Paid Media Specialist to help drive paid media strategy, performance and audience growth across our global markets.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape our global paid media strategy, partnering with regional teams and agencies to support the growth of one of the world's leading beauty brands.
What is the role?
Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing, the Global Paid Media Specialist is responsible for developing paid media strategies, translating business priorities into actionable campaign briefs, managing global organic social boosting budgets, and providing ongoing guidance to regional teams and agency partners.
Working closely with Digital, Social, Brand, Creative and Regional Marketing teams, you'll use data, audience insights and market trends to optimise media investment and continually improve campaign effectiveness across our global markets.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop paid media strategies that translate brand and commercial objectives into clear channel, audience, budget, timing and measurement recommendations.
- Identify audience growth opportunities, acquisition strategies and emerging platform opportunities to improve media effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Own the global approach to boosting organic social media content, including investment recommendations, budget management, pacing and spend reconciliation.
- Create clear paid advertising briefs outlining objectives, audiences, channel roles, creative requirements, budgets, timelines and success measures.
- Partner with regional teams,
agency partners and creative stakeholders to guide campaign delivery and ensure activity aligns with strategic objectives.
- Review media recommendations and creative assets, providing feedback and optimisation opportunities to improve campaign performance.
- Monitor paid media and boosting performance across digital channels and communicate key results, insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyse audience, channel, creative and budget performance to identify opportunities, risks and areas for optimisation.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market reviews and trend monitoring to support future campaign planning and investment decisions.
So, who are you?
You have at least 3 years' experience in paid media, digital marketing or a similar role and bring a robust understanding of digital advertising, social media platforms, audience targeting and performance measurement.
You're equally comfortable with strategy and analysis, turning business objectives into media recommendations while using data and insights to continuously improve performance.
You'll also bring
- Experience developing paid media strategies across social, search, video and display channels.
- Hands-on experience working within major paid advertising platforms and campaign management tools.
- Experience managing media budgets, forecasting investment and tracking campaign performance.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience writing paid advertising briefs and collaborating with agency, creative and marketing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive mindset, with a passion for audience behaviour, digital innovation and emerging media trends.
- Experience working across multiple markets or with global stakeholders will be highly regarded.
