We are seeking an experienced and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Nicks painting' in Bondi Junction, NSW. This is a casual position. As part of our dedicated painting and decorating team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our valued clients
What you'll be doing
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, and other surfaces prior to painting
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Mixing paints and ensuring colour consistency throughout projects
- Protecting furniture, fixtures, and floors with drop cloths and masking tape
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Communicating effectively with customers to understand their requirements and expectations
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining and caring for painting equipment and tools
What we're looking for
- Minimum 10 years of experience in painting and decorating
- A Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of precision
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
