We're looking for a Trade Qualified Carpenter to join our maintenance team at Plane Creek Mill in Sarina, Queensland.

/n

About The Role /n

As a Carpenter at Plane Creek Mill, you'll provide an important maintenance service across the Mill, supporting a range of planned and unplanned maintenance activities and capital projects.

/n

Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, you'll use your trade skills to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the required standard.

/n

The role will suit someone who is self-motivated, practical and able to work independently without close supervision, while also being a strong team player.

Key responsibilities /n

/n

- Complete planned and unplanned carpentry maintenance across the Mill and associated facilities.

/n





- Undertake carpentry work associated with capital projects and improvements.

/n

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

/n

- Assist with assessing the economic life and performance of assets.

/n

- Assist with the development of proposals for capital and maintenance budgets.

/n

- Liaise with the Work Coordinator regarding work priorities, costs and scheduling of expenditure.

/n

- Work collaboratively with other Mill departments and maintenance personnel.

/n

- Contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the site.

/n

What we're looking for /n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Trade Qualification as a Carpenter.

/n

- Manual Driver Licence.

/n

- Previous experience in a relevant carpentry or maintenance environment.

/n

- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

/n

- A genuine team-first attitude and willingness to contribute.

/n

- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.

/n

- A proactive approach to supporting internal stakeholders.

/n

- Strong personal accountability and a commitment to getting the job done safely and properly.

/n

- The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.

Previous industrial or maintenance experience would be highly regarded. Training and support will be provided to someone who demonstrates the right aptitude, attitude and team fit.
