English Teacher (Years 7-10) An exciting opportunity exists for an English Teacher to join a well-established independent school in Launceston, Tasmania , teaching Years 7-10 English and Literacy . The position is available on either afull-time or 0.8 FTE basis , commencing17 August 2026 .

/n This contract role will continue through to the end of the2026 school year , with the potential for anongoing permanent appointment in 2027 for the right candidate.

- Deliver engaging English and Literacy programs for students in Years 7-10.

/n

- Develop students’ reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.

/n

- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.

/n

- Support student achievement through effective classroom practice and assessment.

/n

- Contribute positively to the broader school community.

/n
