A private Palm Beach family is seeking an experienced, professional Full-Time Formal Housekeeper to join their established household team.
The family consists of two adults and their 4-year-old son. The home is fully staffed, including a ROTA nanny team providing seven-day coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large, high-end private residence and understand the standards, discretion, and teamwork required in a formal household.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and detailed upkeep of the residence
- Maintain the home in pristine, hotel-ready condition at all times
- Organize closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, and household areas
- Wash, iron, and properly care for bed linens and sheets
- Make and change beds to a high standard
- Assist with laundry and ironing as needed
- Maintain household supplies and keep designated areas organized
- Work collaboratively with the existing housekeeping and household staff
- Comfortable working in a home with a young child and nanny team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a large, high-end private residence
- Experience working as part of a large household staff
- Comfortable working in a home with children
- Strong knowledge of formal housekeeping standards
- Excellent cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizational skills
- Skilled, discreet, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Must have a positive, team-player attitude
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
