Qual Tech (TAS) provides Construction Materials Testing (CMT) including concrete, asphalt, soil and aggregate testing, from our four locations across the state: Derwent Park, Leslie Vale, Breadalbane and Burnie.

About THE ROLE

/n

We are seeking a Concrete Tester to contribute and assist with the growth and reliability of our business. We are open to receiving applicants looking for casual, part-time or fulltimeworking opportunities - tell us what works for you!

This position supports our Northern Operations team ideally from our Breadalbane laboratory. Key duties may include but not limited to:

/n

/n

- Visiting client project construction sites to collect concrete samples

/n

- Cleaning and maintenance of field sampling equipment

/n

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of information

/n

- Collaborating and communicating with concrete batchers and customers

/n





Desired Skills and Experience /n

About YOU Do you have experience with concrete? Have you been a formworker, finisher, driver, pumpy and are looking for a career change? Do you Love outdoor work, working independently and have attention to detail? We would love to hear from you.

No experience is necessary as all training will be provided on the job, but you will need to have:

/n

/n

- Strong commitment to Safety 1st Always Works

/n

- Strong work ethic, be reliable and have the ability to work independently and manage own time

/n

- Great communication / own time management and an attention to detail

/n

- Current unrestricted driver licence (manual). Regional travel is essential for the role and a Company pool vehicle will be provided.

/n

- Capability of undertaking physical work, compliant with applicable PPE requirements

/n

- Flexible with working hours. QUALTECH typically operates a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:30 however some weekend, early/late starts and overnight work may be required from time to time.

/n
