Kingaroy Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its Midwifery Group Practice team on a short-term contract from 21 September to 18 October 2026. This is a four-week placement in rural Queensland, offering up to 80 hours per fortnight. Preferred Requirements
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation qualification
- Demonstrated competence in cannulation
- Experience working within a Midwifery Group Practice model or equivalent team-based midwifery setting
- Proven experience in rural or remote healthcare environments, with team leadership capability
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification
- Team Leader or clinical leadership training or experience
