Join our team and play a key role in project managing, guiding and providing expertise in understanding and applying service planning and review, and business process improvement. This is an exciting chance to ensure our services and processes evolve alongside the needs of our rapidly growing organisation, whilst meeting the needs of our rapidly growing community!
We’re looking for a skilled professional to bring expertise in undertaking service planning and review, creating efficiencies in business processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role will also administer Council’s key business process mapping software Prime BPM.

About the Role
The Service Planning and Improvement Lead is a strategic role which will project manage, guide and provide expertise in understanding and applying service planning and review, and business process improvement. The role will support Baw Baw Shire’s Strategic Service Planning Cycle, including undertaking service profiling, service reviews and continuous improvement; creating efficiencies in business processes, leading the implementation of a process management framework, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Successful Candidate
To excel in this position, you will bring strong experience in strategic service planning, service review and business process improvement, with the ability to provide analysis,
advice and coordination that supports informed decision-making and aligns activities with Council’s strategic objectives, community priorities and available resources.
You will be skilled at identifying opportunities to improve service effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and customer outcomes, while working collaboratively with service managers, business process champions and stakeholders to assess, prioritise and implement sustainable improvement initiatives.
