As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play an important part in creating those moments every day.

What will you be doing? /n

Working alongside our catering team, you’ll help prepare, serve and present meals while making sure our residents and visitors receive friendly, genuine service.

/n

Your day could include:

/n

/n

- Preparing and presenting meals with care

/n

- Serving residents with a friendly smile

/n

- Assisting with meal service in our dining areas

/n

- Helping the kitchen team during busy periods

/n

- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and welcoming

/n

- Following food safety and hygiene standards

/n

- Supporting the team with whatever is needed to keep service running smoothly

/n

- Most importantly, helping create a positive dining experience for our residents

/n

When will you work? /n

This is a casual position , so we’re looking for people who can offer flexibility across a variety of shifts.

/n

- Public holidays

/n

- Evening shifts until 7:30pm — highly desirable

Skills and Experiences /n

Is this you? You’ll fit right in if you:

/n

/n

- Have experience in Catering in the Aged Care, Retirement Living or Hospital industry

/n

- Experience in hospitality or food service

/n

- Experience in safe food handling

/n





- Enjoy working with people and being part of a team

/n

- Have a positive, can-do attitude

/n

- Take pride in your work

/n

- Enjoy hospitality, food service or customer service

/n

- Can stay calm and organised when things get busy

/n

- Care about providing a great experience for others

/n

- Want a job where what you do actually matters

/n

Experience is great, but attitude matters too! /n

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

/n

/n

- Working with modified diets or knowledge of IDDSI

/n

- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate

/n
