The Men of Business Academy (MOB Academy) is a Junior and Senior Secondary School committed to empowering young men with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to be happy, healthy, and successful in life after school.
This year, we proudly commenced our Year 7 program, with Year 8 joining us in 2027. As our Junior Secondary program continues to grow, Years 9 and 10 will be introduced in the coming years, creating a full secondary pathway alongside our established Years 11 and 12 program.

ABOUT THE CHANCE
As MOB Academy continues to grow, we have exciting opportunities for experienced Teacher Aide’s to join our team across both our Junior and Senior levels in 2027.
This position requires a flexible, agile Teacher Aide to work alongside teaching staff to assist with ensuring students stay engaged, provide one-on-one or small-group support for the students to build confidence in their learning, while bringing positivity and an engaging working environment.
Experience supporting boys with complex needs, demonstrating patience,
flexibility and a willingness to walk alongside each student on their individual journey, while using positive behaviour strategies to build trust, confidence and engagement.
From supporting individual learning needs to helping create a welcoming and inclusive classroom, this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building connections, encouraging growth, and making a real difference in students' lives.

The position is a Fulltime role, working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm. The successful candidate would be expected to commence from the start of Term 1, 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist teachers with preparation, adaptation, and delivery of learning activities.
- Provide targeted one-on-one or small-group support to students, applying inclusive education strategies.
- Implement behaviour and learning support programs under teacher direction, using scaffolds, visual aids, or assistive technologies.
- Encourage positive behaviours and reinforce classroom expectations.
- Communicate student progress and behaviours and support recording and contributing to NCCD, EIP progress notes and QCIA evidence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records to support curriculum planning and school reporting.
- Engage in targeted professional learning in areas such as literacy and numeracy intervention programs, trauma informed practice, and student wellbeing strategies.
- Maintain professional practice and conduct, including attending staff meetings, contributing to collaborative planning, and modelling professional standards at all times.
- Transport students safely and responsibly in MOB Academy vehicles to offsite locations, such as excursions, community programs, or work placements as required.
- Ensure classrooms and communal areas are safe, organised and ready for learning each day.
- Uphold MOB Academy's duty of care at all times
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate 3 or above in Education Support and highly favourable a Certificate 3 in Youth Work
- Previous experience in a school environment within upper primary, junior and senior secondary level
- Experienced Teacher Aides skilled in supporting student behaviour and implementing effective strategies
- Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handing confidential information
- Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
