Temporary Full Time, up to 3 years 35 hours, 5 days $92,042.95 to $100,855.53

JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will lead the implementation of the Georges River Litter Prevention Roadmap, working collaboratively with member councils, government agencies and community stakeholders to deliver positive litter prevention and waterway health outcomes across the Georges River catchment.

You will support litter prevention with monitoring, data collection and reporting, build litter prevention capability across member councils, and identify opportunities for community participation and behaviour change initiatives. The role will use evidence and monitoring results to inform effective litter prevention programs, strengthen stakeholder partnerships and support the achievement of local and regional litter reduction targets.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Science, Education, Natural Resource Management or a related field or relevant industry or extensive job-related experience.
- Current Class C Drivers licence
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate projects
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience in communicating, consulting and liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work, within strict deadlines and with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and work with multi-disciplinary teams




- Knowledge and understanding of litter behaviour change principals and current resource recovery issues
