About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Health First Group team in Robina, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by helping them achieve independence, improve their functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be at the forefront of our rehabilitation and therapy services, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-centred care that supports recovery and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning

- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, needs and abilities

- Delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions including therapeutic activities, adaptive strategies and functional training

- Educating clients and their families or carers about adaptive techniques, home modifications and equipment recommendations

- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as required based on outcomes and feedback

- Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation and client records in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

- Participating in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and share clinical insights

- Contributing to the development and review of therapy protocols and best practice standards





- Supporting the promotion of occupational therapy services within the community and to referral sources

What we're looking for

- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy

- Current registration with Ahpra (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as an Occupational Therapist

- Current professional indemnity insurance

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

- Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple clients effectively

- Commitment to continuing career development and evidence-based practice

- Experience in disability support, aged care, or community health is highly valued

- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and medical software is desirable
