About the role

Urban Earthworks Pty Ltd is seeking a Labourer Construction to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Newton, SA 5074 and offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to diverse construction projects. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible work in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling and excavation work

- Loading, unloading and transporting materials, tools and equipment across construction sites

- Supporting tradespeople and specialists with their day-to-day tasks and requirements

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

- Operating basic hand tools and equipment as directed

- Assisting with the construction, installation and dismantling of temporary structures and scaffolding

- Following all site safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Contributing to site housekeeping and waste management practices

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks in varying weather conditions

- A strong commitment to health and safety practices on construction sites

- Reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Flexibility to work casual hours as required by project demands





- A willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople

- Basic communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to site-specific instructions

- Ideally, some experience working on construction sites or in a labour role, though training will be provided

- A valid MR driver's licence is desirable

- Current First Aid certification is advantageous
