Nebo Junction Accommodation Village is an established, full-service village in Central Queensland, catering to mining and construction crews. We pride ourselves on outstanding service, hearty meals, and a welcoming and supportive team culture.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to prepare and present high-quality meals for our guests and staff. Working a 14 days on / 7 days off roster, with meals and accommodation included.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and serve quality well-presented dinner meals and desserts.

-Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen at all times.

-Ordering and managing stock, including coordinating with suppliers and other chefs.

-Lead and support Kitchen Hands to deliver efficient service.

-Ensure variety and quality in menu planning, including crib meals and night-shift variations.

What We’re Looking For

-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential).

-At least 3 years’ experience as a Cook or Chef (remote / bulk catering experience highly regarded).

-Strong food safety knowledge and compliance focus.

-Ability to work independently and lead a small team.

-Positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
