Chef de Partie (CDP)

Full Time | Lucia | Roche Estate, Hunter Valley

Lucia is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team full time. This is a hands-on role for a chef who takes pride in quality, consistency and organised service, with a genuine interest in Italian-inspired cooking.

About the role

· Take ownership of an allocated section, from mise en place through service and close-down

· Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to recipe, portion and presentation standards

· Coordinate with the Head Chef and other sections to deliver smooth, timely service

· Maintain strong food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards

· Assist with stock rotation, prep planning, waste control and kitchen organisation

· Support and guide junior and casual kitchen team members when required

What you will bring

· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong experience in a similar senior section role

· Relevant commercial cookery qualifications

· Confidence working across sections such as pasta, grill,



larder or pizza

· Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail

· The ability to remain calm and consistent during busy service periods

· Reliable availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
