As the local business enters its next stage of growth, the company is strengthening its senior leadership capability and is seeking an accomplished Sales Director to shape and lead the commercial direction of its Australian vehicle sales operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall vehicle sales function across Australia, taking ownership of national sales performance and commercial delivery.
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy, translating business objectives into clear volume, revenue and market growth plans.
- Lead, develop and strengthen the regional sales organisation, ensuring strong execution, accountability and capability across the team.
- Drive the commercial performance of the national distribution network, building strong partnerships and improving sales effectiveness across the market.




- Own sales planning, forecasting, order generation and inventory management, ensuring alignment between market demand, supply and commercial objectives.
- Lead the sales strategy for recent product and model introductions, developing effective go-to-market plans to maximise launch performance and market penetration.
- Monitor market dynamics, sales trends, wholesale and retail performance, identifying opportunities and risks and adjusting commercial strategy accordingly.
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Network Development and Aftersales, while providing clear reporting and commercial insights to the executive leadership team.
