About the role

Vivid Horticultural Services is seeking a Garden Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Lane Cove, NSW 2066, this role offers flexible work within the gardening and landscaping industry. As a Garden Labourer, you will be working alongside Mark, the owner, contributing to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. This position is perfect for individuals seeking casual work, 2-3 days a week, with the opportunity to develop practical skills in horticulture and landscaping.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of garden beds, lawns, and landscaped areas

- Planting, watering, and caring for plants, shrubs, and trees according to project specifications

- Operating and maintaining basic gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively

- Removing garden waste, debris, and unwanted vegetation

- Supporting Mark in completing project tasks

- Maintaining a clean and protected work environment on client properties

- Following health and safety protocols at all times

What we're looking for

- A genuine interest in gardening, horticulture, or landscaping

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and bending

- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- A strong work ethic and reliability

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Basic communication skills and a positive attitude

- Flexibility to adapt to casual work schedules

- Experience in gardening or landscaping,



while not essential, is a valuable asset

- Someone able to interact with customers in a friendly manner
