Sony is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to join our dynamic Digital Imaging business unit. This is a full-time position based in North Sydney.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across Sony's digital imaging product portfolio (camera business) throughout Australia. You will lead and manage key account relationships, develop sales strategies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets. This position is integral to Sony's growth objectives in the digital imaging sector and will have a significant impact on our market presence and customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include;

- Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies for digital imaging products to drive market share growth and revenue targets

- Own senior-level relationships with major national channel partners, while maintaining solid alignment on communication at all levels – especially with the account managers and their counterparts

- Lead a national team of account managers and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to achieve sales objectives

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making

- Partner with product marketing, marketing communications, analytics, and finance teams on go-to-market and profitability plans

- Maintain forecast accuracy and disciplined financial management of commercial investment

- Lead negotiations for range reviews, promotional plans, and trading terms





- Set and achieve national sales and margin targets by channel and category, aligned with business objectives

- Ensure team focus and unity on company and business unit objectives over individual goals

About you

- Prior experience as a National Sales Manager or Senior Category Account Manager, ideally in digital imaging, consumer electronics, or related technology

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a national or multi-regional territory

- Strong account management experience with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders

- Experience leading and motivating sales teams, with excellent coaching and mentoring capabilities

- In-depth knowledge of the digital imaging market, including cameras, lenses, and related accessories

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation

- Analytical skills with proficiency in P&L; management, forecasting, and reporting

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Australia as required

- Permanent working rights in Australia
