Lead food manufacturing cleaning operations in Erskine Park

AutoSyn Group is seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Site Cleaning Manager for an upcoming food manufacturing sanitation opportunity in Western Sydney.

Proposed package: $95,000 per year including superannuation. Full-time.

We are recruiting ahead of a potential contract award and would like to speak promptly with suitable candidates. Appointment and commencement are subject to contract award, confirmed site requirements and onboarding. This is not a confirmed immediate-start vacancy.

About the role

Take responsibility for site cleaning delivery, mobilisation and the performance of supervisors, leading hands and cleaners. You will be the day-to-day contact for site stakeholders and help establish a secure, reliable sanitation operation.

- Plan new-site mobilisation, team recruitment, induction, training and operational readiness.

- Work with AutoSyn Group to build the site team, including interviewing, assessing and selecting supervisors, leading hands and cleaners for their practical sanitation skills, safety awareness and suitability for the roster.

- Build rosters and arrange shift coverage and relief staff against agreed site requirements.

- Lead supervisors and cleaning teams, set clear expectations and monitor performance.

- Implement cleaning schedules and SOPs for production equipment, conveyors, floors, drains and cold areas.

- Coordinate inspections, cleaning records, corrective actions and handover with site production and quality teams.

- Manage WHS, chemical and SDS controls, PPE and safe machinery isolation procedures.





- Monitor labour hours, consumables and service delivery, and prepare clear client reports.

What you will bring

- Experience managing industrial cleaning or sanitation teams, preferably in food manufacturing, meat processing or poultry.

- Experience mobilising a new cleaning contract or site and building a team from the ground up is highly regarded, including personally interviewing, assessing and selecting supervisors, leading hands and cleaners.

- Practical understanding of food hygiene, HACCP/GMP principles, chemical handling, foaming and pressure-washing operations.

- Strong rostering, team leadership, problem-solving and client communication skills.

- Ability to maintain accurate cleaning, training and safety records and follow through on corrective actions.

- Reliable transport to Erskine Park and availability to support night-shift operations and mobilisation requirements. The final roster will be confirmed before appointment.

- Appropriate Australian work rights and willingness to complete role-related medical assessment, police checks and site induction as required.
