As part of its continued investment in organisational capability, the business is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its Asian operations, with a particular focus on China and senior business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a strategic people partner to senior leaders across key Asian markets, bringing a solid commercial perspective to workforce and organisational decisions.
- Translate business priorities into practical people plans, identifying the capability, structure and talent required to support future growth.
- Advise leaders on complex people decisions, balancing commercial objectives, employee considerations and employment risk to achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Strengthen management capability through coaching and constructive challenge, helping leaders improve performance conversations, team effectiveness and day-to-day people leadership.
- Review organisational structures,



role clarity and workforce capability, recommending changes where the business requires different skills, capacity or ways of working.
- Build stronger talent pipelines through succession planning, critical-role assessment and targeted development of future leaders and high-potential employees.
- Use employee and business insights to identify emerging engagement, retention and capability risks, then develop practical actions to address them.
- Bridge differences in management style, communication and workplace expectations between Chinese and Australian stakeholders, while maintaining consistent people standards and sound HR practice. (Apply first-hand China HR experience and fluent Chinese language capability is required.)
