The Role

Adbri Quarries is seeking a safety-focused and reliable HC Driver to join our Kilburn-based team on a permanent night-shift roster.

Operating a Truck and Quad Dog or Live Bottom Semi-Trailer, you will safely load, transport and deliver raw materials supporting Adbri’s concrete and aggregates operations across metropolitan Adelaide. This is a hands-on role suited to a professional heavy-vehicle operator who takes pride in safe, effective deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will primarily work five night shifts per week, with set start times, competitive hourly rates and regular paid overtime opportunities.

What you’ll do

- Load and deliver raw materials to Adbri sites and external customer locations across Adelaide.
- Operate heavy vehicles safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
- Comply with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue-management, mass-management, HSEQ and road-safety requirements.
- Complete delivery dockets, pre-start inspections and other required documentation accurately.
- Maintain your vehicle in a clean, safe and serviceable condition, reporting faults promptly.
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers, site personnel and colleagues.
- Work independently while contributing positively to a supportive night-shift team.

What you’ll bring

- A current HC driver’s licence and the ability to provide a satisfactory licence-history check.




- At least 12 months’ experience operating Heavy Combination vehicles.
- A strong understanding of, and commitment to, CoR, fatigue management and safe heavy-vehicle operation.
- A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Pride in maintaining a clean, well-presented vehicle and completing paperwork accurately.

We are the market leader in the supply of premixed concrete, aggregates, road base, sands, specialty products and agricultural lime to the South Australian building, construction and infrastructure industries. Our concrete and aggregates operations are in metropolitan Adelaide area as well as several regional locations in South Australia.
