The Farm Manager is responsible for the overall management of day-to-day farm operations. This role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining animal welfare, biosecurity, safety, and company standards. The position requires solid leadership, operational planning, and hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily farm operations and production performance
Manage, train, and supervise farm staff
Ensure animal welfare, biosecurity, and food safety standards are met
Monitor flock health, environmental conditions, and farm performance
Implement and follow company procedures and policies
Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and equipment operation




Ensure workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance
Liaise with management, veterinarians, and support teams as required

Required Skills (Must-haves):
Previous experience in poultry or livestock farm management
Solid leadership and people management skills
Knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity practices
Ability to work independently and make operational decisions
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping
Understanding of WHS requirements
Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
