SPRAY TECHNICIAN – LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE

Casual to Full-Time | Western Suburbs Depot

Volley Recruit is seeking experienced Spray Technicians to join an established landscaping maintenance crew.

This is specifically a Spray Technician / Chemical Application role — we are looking for candidates with previous experience in chemical spraying, weed control and vegetation management, rather than general landscaping experience alone.

THE ROLE

Based from a Western Suburbs depot, you will travel with the crew in company trucks to various sites across Adelaide.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Chemical spraying and herbicide application
Weed control and vegetation management
Targeted chemical application across commercial and public areas
Accurate chemical mixing and application in accordance with procedures
Maintaining spray equipment and reporting any issues
Completing required spray records and documentation
General vegetation maintenance as required
Working safely around the public, crews and site environments
Following strict WHS and chemical handling procedures

ABOUT YOU

We are specifically looking for an experienced Spray Technician / Chemical Applicator with:
Proven experience in chemical spraying and weed control




Current chemical accreditation / certification – e.g. ChemCert, AHCCHM307 or equivalent
Previous experience in vegetation management, horticulture, grounds maintenance or similar
White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Strong understanding of safe chemical handling and application
Valuable attention to detail and accurate record keeping
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a crew

Please note: This is not a general landscaping labouring position. Previous chemical spraying / weed control experience and the relevant chemical qualification are highly desirable.
