About the role
The role is responsible for providing a wide range of high quality, productive and effective reception and administrative duties supporting the Services/Admin Supervisor and the general needs of the overall Liberty team. These duties will complement Liberty's approach that client services and support will offer choice and flexibility ensuring that individual needs and goals are met with a vision of health and wellness.
Key responsibilities
Provide an productive, welcoming, friendly and courteous reception service including greeting staff, volunteers, clients and visitors, answer incoming calls and assisting with enquiries using excellent telephone skills, redirect calls and/or forward accurate messages
Monitor and redirect emails, collect incoming mail from Australia Post and distribute, prepare and attend at Australia Post to send outgoing mail
Draft correspondence as requested by Operations Team Leader, compile and prepare bulk postal mail outs and other correspondence including preparation of labels, envelopes, contents and Australia Post documents and attend at Australia Post to mail
Assist in the financial administration through banking, fee collection, and reimbursements, including attending at Bank to deposit funds
Monitor and maintain birthday lists and send birthday cards to clients in the community, staff, volunteers, committee members, sub-contractors etc
Monitor and maintain stationery and consumable supplies to ensure an appropriate level of supplies
Undertake filing, records management and archiving of Liberty's documents and files
Undertake photocopying and scanning, equipment maintenance
Establish and maintain a skilled relationship with clients
Liaise effectively with clients, carers, volunteers, staff, management, and all contacts of Liberty
About you
Relevant certificate/qualifications in administration and/or demonstrated equivalent experience
Demonstrated high level of skills in customer service
Communication and literacy – both oral and written
Computers – MS365 and the ability to quickly learn specific programs of the organisation
Competent and accurate typing
Knowledge of MYOB
Demonstrated physical capacity to perform the duties of the position as required
NDIS Worker Clearance
Driver's licence in the state of residency
