MAYDAY Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in South Melbourne.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working as part of a team and making sure stock gets where it needs to go accurately and safely.

What’s involved?
Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
Using ERP systems to record stock movements, including serial numbers, expiry dates and lot details
Ensuring stock is stored correctly and inventory records are kept up to date
Preparing and labelling orders ready for delivery
Checking products on arrival and before dispatch and reporting any issues
Assisting with regular stocktakes and cycle counts
Handling specialised stock,



including temperature-sensitive products, in line with procedures
Supporting the wider warehouse team with general day-to-day operations

About you
Walkie Stacker experience is essential
Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Comfortable working with ERP or inventory management systems
Reliable, organised and detail-focused
Robust awareness of workplace safety and quality
A hands-on team player who is happy to pitch in where needed
Available to work full time for the duration of the 6-month temporary contract
Available to start ASAP
