The opportunity –
This newly positioned role offers the opportunity to take ownership of injury management and return-to-work practices across a diverse workforce. Partnering closely with leaders, employees, medical practitioners and insurers, you will manage both physical and psychological injury matters, driving sustainable return-to-work outcomes and best-practice claims management. Beyond case management, you'll play a key role in identifying trends, influencing organisational capability, improving processes and embedding early intervention strategies across the business.
Selection criteria –
Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or a related discipline
Proven experience across workers' compensation, injury management and rehabilitation
Strong knowledge of Queensland workers' compensation legislation and RTW frameworks
Experience managing complex physical and psychological injury claims
Ability to influence and build relationships across all stakeholder groups
Strong analytical capability with a focus on continuous improvement
Proactive, solutions-focused and passionate about employee wellbeing
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
