About you

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. In this role, you will provide a range of barbering services, including haircuts, fades, beard trims, and grooming treatments, while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and committed to creating a positive experience for every client.

Your responsibilities as a barber at Lux Barbers
Consult with clients to determine their preferred hairstyle and grooming needs.
Shampoo, condition, cut, trim, and style hair, beards, and moustaches.




Ability to use tools and equipment, including clippers, scissors, combs, and hair dryers.
Apply styling, grooming, and aftercare products to hair and beards.
Perform facial waxing and provide face, neck, and scalp massages.
Promote barbering services and retail products to clients.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workplace, ensuring equipment is sanitised and supplies are stocked.
Ensure that shelves are stocked at all times

Skills and qualifications
Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering is preferable
At least 3 years of experience as a barber in a similar setting
Ability to operate the shop independently when needed
Robust communication and time management skills
