About the role
This position focuses on maintaining a high‑utilisation general aviation turboprop fleet supporting daily mining and FIFO transport operations. You'll work in a energetic workplace where reliability, safety, and operational readiness are essential.
Key responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance supporting mining/FIFO operations
Diagnose and rectify defects to minimise operational downtime
Ensure compliance with CASA regulations and internal maintenance procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
Support efficient hangar operation
Participate in occasional after-hours or on‑call duties
About you
CASA Part 66 B1.1 License including pressurisation
Experience in general aviation
Strong understanding of CASA regulatory compliance
Ability to work independently and in a small team
High attention to detail and strong safety focus
Willingness to relocate to Kalgoorlie (NO FIFO)
Australian work rights with the ability to hold an ASIC card and police clearance
Experience on PT6A engines and B200 King Air aircrafts (highly desirable)
B1.2 Qualifications (highly desirable)
Mining or remote aviation experience (highly desirable)
