● Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

● With at least 1 year of work experience as a Chef.

● Prepare and cook food according to recipes, specifications, and established standards.

● Assist with preparation for daily service.

● Ensure dishes are consistently prepared and presented to the required standard.

● Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef and support the wider kitchen team as required.

● Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work station throughout service.

● Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.

● Correctly store, label, rotate, and handle food products to minimise waste and maintain freshness.

● Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries, checking produce quality, and reporting shortages or issues.





● Minimise food waste through appropriate preparation, portion control, and storage.

● Assist with kitchen cleaning and end of shift duties.

● Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members and front of house staff.

● Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.

● Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining kitchen standards and procedures.

● Assist with training and supporting other kitchen staff when required.

● Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
