Catercare is seeking a professional chef who specialises in cakes, pastries and sweets in an Aged Care setting

Description:
What You Will Do
Ensuring high quality meals are ready for the community
Understands diabetic-friendly, low-sugar, texture-modified, and allergen-specific baking requirements.
Manage the kitchen production with total efficiency and speed
Maintain elite food safety and hygiene standards
Provide warm and qualified service to residents and staff
Assist with prep to set the kitchen up for the week ahead

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
Robust communication skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
